People in Royston have commented about the boarded up former Roysia school site and asked what is happening with it.

Whilst there are enough school places for all Royston children at the moment without using the Roysia site, it is obviously not good that Herts County Council has just left the site unused for years. Unfortunately they have a track record of doing this sort of thing.

I have asked the council’s directors of education and property what long term plans they have for the Roysia site and what the site could be used for in the interim.

Just leaving it empty and boarded up doesn’t help anyone.
