Steve Jarvis is a County Councillor and a District Councillor.

On Herts County Council he represents the Royston West and Rural division covering Great Ashby, the part of Royston west of London Road and Kneesworth Street and the villages of Ashwell, Bygrave, Caldecote, Clothall, Graveley, Hinxworth, Kelshall, Newnham, Radwell, Rushden, Sandon, Therfield, Wallington and Weston.

He is a member of the Resources and Performance and Children, Young People and Families cabinet panels. He is the shadow spokesperson for Children, Young People and Families and leader of the Liberal Democrat group on the council.

On North Herts Council Steve represents the parishes of Clothall, Rushden, Sandon, Wallington and Weston. He is the cabinet member for Environment & Leisure and a member of the Baldock Area Forum (which covers the Weston & Sandon area).

Steve is married with three grown up children and lives in Graveley.
