Some parts of Great Ashby Way, particularly areas in the middle of the road, which you have to drive on when passing parked cars, have had many pot holes for ages.
Steve Jarvis has been pressing highways to do more than just fix the worst of the holes and they have now told him the the whole road has been added to this financial year’s “preventative maintenance program”. This should see all these areas fixed, along with some of the side road junctions which are starting to break up. Unfortunately the current estimate is that this will not happen until at least February – although that’s an improvement on never which was the case previously.
In the meantime it is important to report any big pot holes since they will get fixed usually in few days.
