Herts County Council claims to be committed to sustainability and says that it is short of money but it has just installed a row of street light where none are needed. These light will needlessly increase the council’s carbon emissions, they will cause unnecessary light pollution and the will have cost many tens of thousands of pounds (and possibly a lot more) to install.

These light have been installed on part of the B197 between Graveley and the A1(M).
