Thanks to all those of you who supported me in Thursday’s North Herts Council election.

I am pleased to say I was re-elected. The result was:

Steve Jarvis 540
Conservative 85
Labour 37
Green 28

Across the rest of North Herts the Liberal Democrats gained four seats, Labour gained six and the Conservatives lost eight (there were changes to the boundaries which mean that there are now two more seats). There continues to be no single party with a majority of seats on the council.
