The pupil premium paid for all pupils in receipt of free school meals was a key Liberal Democrat priority. Next year it will be increased to £900 per pupil per year.

The total payment to each local school is:

Weston School £15300
Sandon School £9900                                  
Knights Templar £157500

A further £500 will be given to secondary schools for every pupil who hasn’t reached Grade four in English and Maths when they arrive at the school. Knights Templar will receive £22500 under this scheme.

These changes were largely driven by Liberal Democrats in Government, to make sure that our education system delivers a good outcome for everyone.
