Herts County Council is to consult on revised proposals for parking restrictions in Layston Park, Royston. The proposals are intended to prevent parking on the bend near the entrance and around the junction with London Road, but residents had a number of concerns about the initial proposals.

The revised proposals will reduce the length of the double yellow lines so parking will be allowed in places where it does not have a safety impact and add some single yellow lines, where parking will only be banned during the day.
