We now have details of the changes that North Herts Council is proposing to make to the Local
Plan after the examination which finished in March.

Unfortunately they have ignored almost all the comments and objections made by local people.
There are a few minor clarifications but all the proposed housing sites remain in the plan
essentially unchanged.

There are no changes to the Ashwell, Great Ashby, north Stevenage, Therfield and Weston sites.

All the sites on the edge of Baldock are also still included with no change in house numbers although the boundaries of the southern site have been extended.

Once again the Council has failed to pay any attention to local people’s views.

Assuming that they are approved by the NHDC cabinet there will be a public consultation from 3rd January to 14th February.
